David Short

David Short was born in 1969 and grew up in a small village in South Yorkshire not far from Sheffield.  His interest in photography came about at the age of 20 when it became obvious to him that this was the path to follow.  He spent the next few years studying photography in Sheffield and Newcastle, and upon graduating David set up his own photography business.

David's superb lighting skills combined with his Northern charm has proven highly popular commercially and in recent years he has worked on campaigns for clients such as Sony, Tesco, GHD, COI, Bravissimo, Network Rail, Merrell and Regatta among others.

David's work has been recognised with several awards from D&AD, New York Art Directors Club and the Association of Photographers.
