David Short hails from the small village of South Anston in Yorkshire not far from Sheffield. After studying photography in Sheffield and Newcastle, David set up his own photography business and the rest is history…
David shoots a wide range of subjects including portraiture, sports & lifestyle. His work, which is characterised by his highly skilled lighting combined with a realistic textured quality has been recognised with several awards from D&AD, New York Art Directors Club and the Association of Photographers.
David’s versatile style and Northern charm has proven highly popular commercially and in recent years he has worked on campaigns for clients such as Vodafone, Sony, Tesco, Regatta, COI, GHD, Bravissimo, Network Rail and Merrell among others.
